Welcome from the Minister
and Session

“I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.” So said the Lord Jesus Christ. And we want to you to have a share in that abundant life that only Jesus can give.
Raloo Presbyterian Church is part of the Presbyterian Church in Ireland, and as you see from this page our aim is “Making disciples in order to make disciples.” We want to introduce people of all ages and backgrounds to the Lord Jesus Christ. We believe that the greatest need for people is to be reconciled to God. To be a member of his family is a great privilege and a great blessing.
Although life in the congregation is slightly curtailed at present with the Covid restrictions, we are hopeful that after the summer life can begin to return to normal. We hope we will have a full programme of events and you are invited to try any of these that attract your interest.
The centre of the congregation’s life is our Sunday worship service at 11.30 am each week. This is an opportunity to offer to God our devotion for he alone, as Creator and Redeemer, is worthy to receive it. If you are not familiar with Presbyterian services – or indeed any services, please do not let that put you off. Our services are straightforward and conducted with reverence and dignity as is fitting to present to God.
So whether you are new to the district or a member who has got out of the habit of coming to church, we would love to see you. Perhaps you think the church has nothing to offer you in the twenty-first century, why not come along and see if you can be surprised?
You will be made very welcome.

Michael A Barry
